B2B Roadshow

Business success depends on a number of factors – not least the needs to be inspired from time to time and to meet other successful firms, large and small. The B2B Roadshow provides both. From relatively small beginnings a year ago, the show has grown to the point where 80 exhibitors from the private and public sectors were able to show their wares to almost 1,000 delegates.

The organisers had to find a much larger venue in Edinburgh this year – they chose Murrayfield Stadium – and will now take the show out of the Central Belt, south into England and north to Aberdeen and Inverness. The Caledonian Mercury was there to see what went on.

At a time of economic difficulty, it’s all the more important for businesses – SMEs (small and medium enterprises) in particular – to get together, to show their wares and find out more about each other.

That’s what the B2B Roadshow in Glasgow was designed to do. It’s the kind of event where new business alliances are formed, contacts are made and people leave seminars better informed.
